It was around the Muson Centre/TBS area of Lagos today, the man in the picture above was stopped by the police and told to pull over for traffic offences.
After pulling over, the police tried to seize the man’s bus but the man was not ready to let go of that bus at all because what he did next is just too funny.
He quickly ran under the bus and dared the police to run over him if they want to collect bus. He lay down there until until a helicopter was brought in to airlift the bus to the nearest LASTMA yard.

Tech: Google To Bring Free Wi-Fi To The World!
Google is rolling out free wifi in New York as part of a trial the company hopes will eventually span across the whole of the world.
The internet giant has even gone as far as to set up a company specifically dedicated to the task, called Sidewalk Labs.
How will they do this you ask – through turning 10,000 of the big apple’s old phone booths into ad-supported ‘Wi-Fi pylons’.
These converted booths are also intended to provide cell-phone charging, free domestic phone calls and a touch screen information hub about the city and transit directions.
According to Bloomberg News, these ‘pylons’ will be rolled out across New York this autumn.
Customers And Bank Workers Exchange Blows Over BVN Registration
In the huge rush to beat the Bank Verification Number enrollment deadline which is June 30th, 2015 however, customers of an old generation bank engaged in a brawl with members of staff of the bank in the banking hall in Enugu State.
Customers were gripped by fear over the reports that their bank accounts will be frozen if they don’t enroll before the deadline.
The insistence on the BVN by bank cashiers before attending to customers also increased such fear.
The development led to an unusually large turnout of customers at banking halls in the Coal City and this has been happening since the beginning of the week.
However, the matter took a different turn at an old generation bank, located in the Independence Layout area of Enugu on Thursday.
Trouble started when security personnel and operations staff of the financial institution asked some customers to go outside the banking hall to wait their turn.
About 100 customers, who had been at the bank since 6am, had trooped into the banking hall when the doors were opened by 8am.
In a bid to maintain order, the bank officials asked the first 10 among the customers to fill the BVN forms and join about 30 others who did not complete the registration the previous day.
The other customers were told to leave the banking hall, and wait outside.
But the directive did not go down well with the customers, who protested, causing commotion in the banking hall.
The situation degenerated into a full blown fight when some customers violently resisted an attempt by the bank officials to lead them out of the banking hall.
In the ensuing fracas, a young man engaged an armed riot policeman, who was attached to the bank, in a fight, while another customer exchanged blows with a bank worker.
The situation further escalated as some customers, who wanted to capitalise on the confusion to move to the front of the queue, were physically resisted by those who were already there.
Normalcy eventually returned after other bank security personnel, who were outside, stormed the banking hall to overpower the violent customers.
The branch manager of the bank later announced that the bank would open on Saturday to continue the enrollment.
The branch manager, who did not disclose her name, complained that the customers had waited until the last minute before coming to enroll for the BVN.

Total Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (Deepwater District) has said it remains committed to a strong and unwavering budget for Corporate Social Responsibility despite dwindling oil prices in the international market.
The company described the entire geopolitical zones as its host communities, saying it remained committed to implementing its CSR programmes across board.
The Deputy General Manager, CSR/Public Affairs at the company, Dr. Nkoyo Attah, said this at the company’s Book Reading Initiative organised for secondary schools in Lagos.
Attah said though current trends in the international oil market were putting pressure on operations of oil companies generally, Total had no plans to shrink its budgets as far as community and people development was concerned.
According to her, the company has continued to carry out different assessment to ascertain the needs in the various geopolitical zones of the country, and implementing different projects across the country based on the recommendations of the needs assessment.
She added, “The footprint of Total is all over. As long as Total continues to operate within Nigeria, we will continue to give back.
“For this book reading initiative, we focused more on public schools. Our intention is to touch more of the less-privileged schools. We go more to those that are disadvantaged. We get licences and goodwill from the society, so there is the need to impact positively on it.

Fayose’s Govt Owing Only May Salary – Ekiti State Government
The Ekiti State government Wednesday said only May 2015 salary was being owed by the Governor Ayodele Fayose-led government.
Reacting to reports that workers in Ekiti State were being owed three months salary, Special Assistant to the governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said; “As at today, the only salary yet to be paid by the Fayose-led government is that of May 2015.”
He noted that the immediate past All Progressives Congress (APC) government of Dr Kayode Fayemi refused to pay August and September, 2014 salary despite receiving federal allocation for the months of August and September that ought to have been used to pay August and September salary.
He however added that; “The Fayose-led government has already cleared the August 2014 salary left unpaid by the APC government, leaving that of September that will be paid as soon as there is improvement in the state’s finances.”
On the May salary being owed, the governor’s aide said; “Allocation of May that was received was not enough to pay salary, leaving the government with the option of waiting for June allocation that is expected to be released next week and the moment that is done, workers will get May salary.”

Escaped Tiger From Flooded Georgia Zoo Kills Man
The Dead Tiger
The tiger that escaped from a zoo after a flash flood in the Georgian capital Tbilisi over the weekend mauled a man to death on Wednesday before it was killed by police marksmen.
Scores of animals including a hippopotamus, eight lions, seven tigers, several bears and up to 20 wolves went missing from their enclosures on Sunday after heavy rain and high winds caused a river in the city to break its banks.
Many of the beasts were seen roaming the streets, but local authorities reassured frightened residents earlier this week that all had perished, been rounded up or shot.
That promise was proved dramatically empty when the white tiger pounced on a man as he entered a warehouse in the city where the beast had been hiding. He later died of his wounds.
“We entered the depot and, suddenly, a white tiger rushed out of an adjacent room and attacked one of the workers, jumping at his throat and mauling him,” a colleague of the victim, Alexander Shavbulashvili. “We broke the window of another room to flee, and the sound of breaking glass must have scared it and it ran away.”
Irakli Garibashvili, the prime minister, issued a public apology for the death, claiming he had been misled by managers at the zoo when he announced on Monday that no animals posing a threat to residents remained alive.
NASS N9bn Fallout: We’ll Reduce Our Salaries, Allowances – Saraki
Senate President Bukola Saraki has denied that federal lawmakers get N9billion wardrobe allowance.
He also said there were plans by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) to reduce salaries and allowances of federal lawmakers.
Saraki, who stated this on his Twitter handle yesterday after meeting with the RMAFC boss, said the annual wardrobe allowance for each senator is N506,600 per annum, about N2.25 million for their four-year tenure.
He also absolved lawmakers of indiscriminately allocating monies to themselves, and said that RMAFC had the sole responsibility of fixing their remuneration, adding that the Commission would soon publish details of their allowances on its website.
“RMAFC was in my office to clarify (that) wardrobe allowance is N506,600 per senator. I have just been informed that RMFAC will be publishing details of allowances on their website.
“With the current challenge we are facing as a nation, RMAFC will be reviewing allowances to reflect the current economic trend. Fixing remuneration is sole responsibility of RMAFC,” the Senate president said.
LEADERSHIP recalls that there were media reports that a member of House Representatives collects N17.5 million as wardrobe allowance annually, while a senator receives about N21.5 million.

71yr Old Man Slaughters Wife With A Machete In Akwa Ibom (Viewer Discretion)
A 70 year old man has been arrested in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state after he killed his 60yr old wife with a machete.
The man, Ita Daniel Okpo (pictured), from Mbiokporo village, attacked his wife, Alice Ita Daniel, with the machete while she was sleeping. The machete is now with the Police at the Force Headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia.
Narrating the story to newsmen yesterday Tuesday, 16th June, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, Mike Okoli, said the deceased was sleeping when the septuagenarian husband attacked and hacked her.
The photos are horrific.
“This man, Ita Daniel Okpo, in a most wicked act, slaughtered his wife with a machete and we arrested him.
When asked, he admitted to killing his wife but said the late wife, Alice, always quarreled with him and that she was the first to carry machete.
Gentlemen, but our findings revealed that the woman was sleeping when she was hacked to death”,
When asked, the man admitted to killing his wife but said he took the action after finding out his late wife was sleeping with other men.
“I regret my act, but I was forced to kill her because it was too much on me.
In fact, at a point, she openly told me she would rather kill me than to stop sleeping with these men.
To match words with action, she had been fighting me several times.
So, on that fateful day, while we fought, I killed her” he said
The ACP said the man will charged to court.

Meet The African King With 100 Wives (Photos)
Abumbi II, the 11th fon, or king, of Bafut, Cameroon, has close to 100 wives.
They weren’t all his to start with.
According to local tradition, when a fon dies, his successor inherits all his wives and then marries his own queens.
He inherited 72 of the women from his late father.
He has also taken on over 500 children from all of his wives.
“The queens have a great role to play in the fondom,” notes Prince Nickson, also of Bafut, noting that it is up to these women behind the man to shape him in his kingly role.
“Behind every successful man must be a very successful, staunch woman,” says Abumbi’s third wife, Queen Constance.
“Our tradition has it that when you are king, the elderly wives remain to hand down the tradition to the younger wives, and also to teach the king the tradition because the king had been a prince, not a king.”
Despite the fact that polygamy is legal in Cameroon, the data shows that there are far fewer polygamous marriages across the African continent.
The practice is being challenged by changing values, the spread of the Christian faith, the growing appeal of the western way of life but also the rising costs of having large families.
It is against this backdrop that Cameroon’s traditional rulers must walk the fine line between two often conflicting cultures.
“During colonialism other values came in, of governance, different from the traditional values we had and therefore there is this constant conflict between the traditional values and modern western values,” admits Fon Abumbi II, who has ruled Bafut, the largest fondom in the region, for 47 years.
“My role is to blend them, to find the way forward so my subjects can enjoy the fruits of development and modernity without destroying their culture. Without a culture, you are not a human being, you are an animal. And therefore the chieftaincy institution is the guarantor of our culture.”
“I understand that we might be quick to judge the lifestyle of the kings, but just like in the United Kingdom, African kingdoms and kings are bound to a rich culture and history. (Practices) like inheritance of all your father’s wives is nothing but a moral obligation.”
On meeting the queens of Fon Ndofua Zofia II of Babungo — one of Cameroon’s youngest traditional rulers — Methu CNN correspondent said:
“All his young wives, forced on him by tradition, spoke fluent English in a French-speaking region and were great marketers.”
It is this seeming contradiction that makes life in the fondom fascinating and confusing.
Are they stuck in the past or keeping pace with the present? Fon Zofoa III doesn’t think you have to choose.
He may have “inherited” 72 wives and more than 500 children after his father’s death, but he considers himself a very modern king.
“To run a kingdom nowadays in this era, you must be educated because things are moving very fast.
Like they used to say, education is light, ignorance is darkness.”

Osinbajo is Tinubu's boy
A security expert has explained why Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has so far not been allowed to attend any of the national security meetings President Buhari has hadwith Service Chiefs since he assumed power. On June 2nd and yesterday June 10th, President Buhari met with the Service Chiefs without Osinbajo and this has led to some media houses reporting that the Vice President was "locked out" from the Defence House, venue of the meetings.A security expert explains why the pastor and lawyer can't be allowed into such meetings for now. See that after the cut...The security expert explaned that Vice President Osinbajo is not a trained militaryofficer and so it will take the military some time before sensitive intelligence can be shared in his presence. He also made reference to the Vice President's affiliation to Tinubu. What he said below..."I am sure he would have been invited if he had security background. Being a Professor of Law is fine, but in terms of intelligence and access to security information, you are nowhere near the rank of Colonel or equivalent in the NigeriaMilitary. Look, I have watched some footages that if the VP gets to see, he would lose appetite for days. Now, we have someone who has been in luxury virtually all his life, attaining the position of VP and some people are clamouring for his presence in highly sensitive talks. The truth is that the military hierarchy would not even feel comfortable saying some things in his presence. I can tell you that they respect Prof. Osinbajo as VP but they cannot trust him with information yet.You cannot compare him to Buhari who served in many military roles, chased away a militia that was threatening Nigeria security, overthrew a military government, became Head of State, foughtcorruption and went ahead to instill discipline among a stubborn citizenry. The VP would have to go through what is called ‘Stimulation’. This is a process where he is lectured on terms, dealings, operations etc. of the military. His inner strength, strong heart and ability to keep things to himself will first be put to test before he gets access to some classified materials and information. We must understand the fact that Osinbajo was a candidate promoted by Bola Tinubu (ex-Lagos Governor), he was not handpicked by Buhari. If the President had picked a vice, it is likely that such individual may get the access Osinbajo isn’t getting now. Everyone knows the VP has been loyal to Tinubu for decades and he cannot swear that he would not divulge details of these security meetings to his political godfather. So he has to earn it. Tinubu mayhave used his influence to put him in this position but he must draw a line between blind loyalty and national duty.” he told Daily Independent
